Call for Steering Group Members
We are looking for volunteers to join our Steering Group, responsible for the governance and development of IREC. We welcome expressions of interest from a wide cross-section of representation and different levels of experience / expertise. Call for Panel Members
We are looking for people who can demonstrate: expertise in research ethics, a good working knowledge of intersectionality, and good organisational and collaborative skills. We welcome applications from members of marginalised and oppressed groups.
To apply, please write a statement of no more than 500 words, outlining their ethics-related experience, any relevant projects and/or publications, and an explanation of what you can bring to the panel.
Please also include the names and contact details of two referees who can confirm the claims you make in your statement.
IREC panel members will be paid for their work on a freelance basis.
Membership of the panel does not guarantee work. Allocations will depend on the number of applications IREC receives and the skills and experience of panel members. We will always aim to create panels with as wide a range of skills and experience as possible.

There is no deadline at present; we are recruiting steadily, and will be operational when we have enough good quality applications from a sufficiently diverse group of people.
Inductions for new panel members will be online in 2024. You will need to be available to join an induction session if your application is successful. We will use an online appointment finding system to identify a suitable date and time.
